About Harris Bindery

A long history of Chicago craftsmanship

Harris Bindery can trace its history back to 1920, when Samuel Zonne opened his bookbindery on Dearborn Street in Chicago’s “Printers Row”. In 2005, Zonne Bookbinders became Harris Bindery and reopened its doors to service a new generation of customers.

We use the same Old World craftsmanship and attention to detail as our founder did nearly a century ago. Our current employees have over 200 years of combined experience. With the addition of a high speed perfect binding system, we are well positioned to serve our 21st century customers.

Customers are our #1 priority

Harris Bookbinding is Chicago’s primary source for perfect binding and case binding solutions. We strive to create a unique and handcrafted product for every customer, from small to large projects. Client collaboration is important to us, allowing the customer to get the exact product they envision, and at the best possible price we can provide.
